Corey Carpenter

Corey was a loving husband, father, and son. He enjoyed cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes and going to Phish Concerts. He loved cooking and spending time with his friends and family, especially his son Zade.

Corey is preceded in death, by his paternal and maternal grandparents; his aunt Patty Greer; and his uncle Bobby Rockhold.

Corey is survived by his loving wife, Amber (Kenney) Carpenter; his son Zade Nixon; his parents; siblings, Wesley (Tiffany) Carpenter, Ashley McGonigle, and brother-in-law, Kevin McGonigle; sister-in-law Jenifer (Barry) Slusser, brother-in-law, Todd (Sarah) Kenney; mother-in-law, Rhonda Kenney; father-in-law, Robert Kenney; God Parents, Mark and Terry Leopold; and numerous nieces, nephews , and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends, Friday March 10, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8, at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230, where a service will be held Saturday March 11, 2017 at 12pm with visitation starting at 10am. Pastor Kevin Cain officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a memorial fund in Zade Carpenter's name at any Fifth Third Bank branch, or contributions may be mailed to the Fifth Third bank at 155 W. Main St., New Albany, Ohio 43054. Attn: Zade and Amber Carpenter Memorial Fund.
