

Courtney was a 2015 graduate of Worthington Kilbourne High School. She was extremely active within the high school community, as a founding member of the anti-bullying organization One Leg at a Time and served as the student liaison on the Worthington School Board. Courtney graduated with high honors and the rare distinction of completing 12 Seasons of Greatness in athletics.
Courtney was planning on returning back to Marist College in Poughkeepsie NY this fall, having earned a spot on the Dean’s List her freshman year. Courtney planned to continue her premed studies with the ultimate goal of becoming a pediatrician. Courtney was also going to return to the Marist Red Foxes Division 1 Water Polo Team, where as a walk on her freshman year, she earned playing time as an attacker, through her perseverance and determine work ethic. Over this summer she continued to show her love of water polo and swimming through coaching and lifeguarding.
Courtney is survived by her parents, Jeff & Vicki (Cousino) Fisher, sisters Lindsey (20), Betsey (16), Melanie (14) and brother Mitchell (14), grandparents Gary & Marilyn Fisher (Bloomfield Hills, MI) and Ronald Cousino, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 28 at the Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High Street.
Funeral mass will be held on Monday, August 29 at 11 am at St. Joan of Arc in Powell. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to cover funeral expenses, medical bills, grievance leave, and to create a scholarship to help develop future Water Polo players in Ohio.
