Cynthia Dora Gudel, 74, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Cindy was born on June 17, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Charles & Monna (Evans) Gudel. She was also preceded in death by her sister Beatrice North and brother Charles Gudel. Following graduation from Brush High School in 1969, Cindy earned degrees from the University of Mount Union and The Ohio State University. Cindy was a teacher in the Columbus City Schools before retiring early to care for her mother. She enjoyed participation in MENSA International, a gourmet cooking group, and Toastmasters International. Cindy will be deeply missed by her loving brother William “Bill” Gudel; niece Julie (Ben) Richard; nephew Eric (Lauren MacFarland) North; three great-nephews and one great-niece.
