

Dale V. Armstrong, age 82, passed away at home Friday, August 14, 2015. Dale was born in Lancaster, Ohio and grew up in Junction City, Ohio, son of the late Percy and Marie (Bay) Armstrong. Also preceded in death by sisters, Louise Armstrong and Mary Lou Folk, and brother, Bob Armstrong. Dale graduated from Junction City High School, Class of 1952. Following, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Dale worked in maintenance and retired from Western Electric/ATandT after 28 years of dedicated service. Dale was truly one of kind. He was a caring, determined, hardworking man who had a great sense of humor. He was a founding member of Church of the Resurrection. Dale enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, playing cards, was a sports fan, and was a tremendous carpenter who had built 4 homes for his family. He was a precious husband to his wife Betty for 61 years and will be greatly missed. Loving Dad of children, Pam (Steve) Tippett, Debbie (Steve) Stone, Mark (Sally) Armstrong, Becky (Gary) Hall, and Sue (Darin) Stanson; grandchildren, Brad (Barbara) Tippett, Eric (Whitney) Tippett, Crystal (Michael) Rykken, Adam (Erin) Stone, Liz (Joey) Overholt, Sarah (Ryan) King, Maggie (David) Perdue, Danny Armstrong, Conor Hall, Jake (Jess) Hall, Josh Hall, Megan Stanson, Ryan Stanson, Natalie Stanson, and Nathan Stanson; great grandchildren, Hayden, Madison, Brooklyn, Elijah, Silas, Jed, Abner, Noah, Sawyer, Sunny, Lily, RheaAnna, Helen, Heaven, Alaina, and 3 more on the way; brothers, Dick (Ruth) Armstrong and Larry Armstrong; sister, Linda Sue (Larry) Brown; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. August 20, 2015 at Church of the Resurrection, 6300 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6:30-8:30 P.M. Wednesday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where a prayer vigil will begin at 4 P.M. and from 10:30-11 A.M. Thursday at Church of the Resurrection. Father Jerome P.
