Damere Deshawn Davis was called home by the Lord on July 31, 2019. Damere was born November 24, 1982 to Lisa Davis and Michael Burley in Akron, Ohio. Damere was 36 years young. He is proceeded in death by his loving and devoted grandmother, Jerrie Hale and his grandfather, William Davis. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his mother, Lisa Davis and father, Michael (Angela) Burley; his brothers, Nijel Davis and Tyrone Darnell; his amazing sons, Damere D. Davis (Natasha Germany), and Daleon D. (Latasha) Brown; his grandson, Josiah Clark; his beautiful daughter, Malaysia (Melody) Lewis; his sisters; Rachelle R. Burley and Delisha Burley; his special uncle/father, Keith Davis; his grandmother, Fontell Burley; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Damere attended Mifflin High School, he cherished his children and enjoyed fishing, gambling and playing chess even though he was not good at it. Damere loved animals, particularly reptiles. He also enjoyed watching movies and was a natural born leader who had an infectious smile. Damere was taken from us far too soon and he will be forever missed and loved by many. Heaven has gained another angel as you can now spread your wings and fly free. I am home, do not cry for me for I have been set free do not cry for me. The sky has opened and the clouds have spread for I have risen, do not cry for me. I'm no longer in pain, I am no longer suffering, I have been set free, do not cry for me. I have started my journey, I have sailed, I have received my wings, therefore, do not cry for me. Special thanks to Patricia Germany, Taylor Clark, the Burley family, Reginald McCullars, Tyrell Pruitt, Evangelist Gwendolyn Ray, Heart and Hope Funeral Home by Schoedinger and all those who have shown support through this difficult time. Fly Grandpa Fly!
