Leigh and family, so sad to learn of the death of your son. I used to work with you at VSSP and remember your beautiful smile and sense of humor. You surely passed that on to your children. He will aways be in your heart.

To the Bay Family:
I am a former co-worker of Dave's at PBI. I just wanted to say I have spent quite a bit of time with Dave talking about family and Dave's heart has always been for his wife, daughter and son. The joys of his life. My heart grieves this loss for him and all members of the Bay Family are in our daily prayers. You are not alone. 
In Christ, we all share the hope of eternal life and being reunited someday for all eternity. May you be comforted during this time knowing Daniel touched so many people in a positive way. It looks like it runs in the family...

Blooming Basket was purchased for the family of Daniel Thomas Bay .

Dan was such a bright light in the two courses he took with me last year at OSU.  He sat right in the front row of my first course, and shared many insightful observations and  opinions with the class. It was always a pleasure to hear his thoughts.  In my second course, he challenged himself to complete a rigorous final project that was also very interesting.  In the short time I knew Dan, I could tell how motivated, dedicated and talented he was.  I am so sorry that he is no longer here with us.

Dear Dave, Leigh, and Abbey
     We are so very sorry that Dan has passed!  Our hearts go out to you during this terribly sad time.  We hope God provides you with strength, comfort, and peace.  We hope it helps in some way to know that so many people care for you and love you. Danny was a Little League baseball catcher and I was telling him about a move experienced catchers make when a base runner tries to run them over at home plate. Dan was fascinated and insisted that we immediately go outside so I could show him, which we did. Then he had to try it on me, at which point he about broke my neck ! He always loved "rough-housing".

One of my favorite memories of Dan is covered in mud.  He was playing with Mitch in the woods and they had created a mud slide.  I am talking mud head to toe, and the only thing you could see were their smiles.  I thought Leigh and Dave would kill me, but I sent him home clean. Another favorite memory is seeing him jump off a rock at Cumberland with a huge smile on his face.  That one I am pretty sure Leigh was ready to kill us!   

My other favorite memories of Dan were watching him wrestle.  Fire in his belly is how I described it to people.  I would have hated to be on the other end of it as his intensity showed in every move.  And that is how I think of Dan. His intensity was a gift and a burden.  May he have peace. MB Wozniak
