

Daniel Christopher Doyle, 48, passed away at home surrounded by loving family on Thursday, December 20, 2018. He was born November 29, 1970. An active member of the community, Dan was a devoted coach of young athletes in many sports including baseball, basketball, and football. Having a passion for youth sports, Dan helped to create Team Franklin Titans, giving kids a chance to play basketball. He also enjoyed watching sports. He was a lifelong fan of Ohio State, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Miami Dolphins. Dan worked for the City of Columbus in various departments for nearly 20 years. He started by working the Berliner batting cages and moved to the Human Resources department after earning his Master's Degree in Human Resources. Dan was dearly loved. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Robert and Eleanor Doyle and maternal grandparents, Herbert and Laura Lee Russell; and his father, Raymond "Skip" Doyle. Dan is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Kristie; son, Ethan; mother, Beverly Stewart and step-father, Steve; brother, Scott Doyle; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kim and Kevin Yors; brother-in-law, Jeff (Amber) Yors; adored nephews, Jevin and Tayven Yors; and many other relatives and friends, especially those from the City of Columbus HR Dept. and Grove City H.S. Class of '89.
