

Danielle graduated from Sunset High School in Portland Oregon in 1991 and attended the University of Tampa where she earned her bachelors degree in marketing, it was here where she adopted her favorite four legged friend Smokey. Upon graduation Danielle started working for Nationwide in Portland Oregon in the call center giving insurance quotes. She moved to Columbus in 2000 and began her career in the IT department for Nationwide. She would go on to move up the ranks and become one of the IT directors. During Danielle's career, she earned her MBA and many different professional certifications.
Danielle met the love her life, Josh, at a Cleveland Cavaliers game in 2002. Danielle and Josh loved to travel. Perhaps their favorite place to travel was to their family cabin in Bear Lake, Michigan where they shared many memories with family and friends. Danielle was an avid reader and loved to read romance books. She also loved crafts and quilting. Her quilting was done on her grandmothers sewing machine that was passed down to her. Danielle made quilts for all of her friends and family.
She was a an intelligent, funny and witty person and was known to make anyone laugh. Danielle was proud of her professional career but her proudest accomplishment was her eight-year-old son Declan. She enjoyed doing art projects with her son. The artwork the two of them did together expressed her love for him. Danielle would often time volunteer her time at the Capital Area Humane Society.
In addition to her parents, Danielle will be greatly missed by her husband Joshua Tirey; son, Declan Tirey; sister, Andrea (Jim) Sprengart; nieces, Sabina Memet, Rachael Bellamy, and Sophia Zilincik.
Due to the COVID-19 health situation a memorial service celebrating Danielle's life will be held at a later time at the Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 North High Street.
