Darla Ann Adkins

Darla Ann Adkins, age 64, passed away unexpectedly following a fall at her home. Born in Columbus, Ohio on January 3, 1962, Darla was the beloved daughter of Robert G. Cruz and Norma Cruz. She cherished her family above all else and found great joy in gardening, camping, sharing stories around the campfire, and spending precious time with her grandchildren. Darla's caring and generous spirit touched everyone who knew her. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, or give whatever she could to someone in need. She will be remembered for her selfless heart and the simple truth that she “had nothing but gave everything.” Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for family and friends will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Norma Cruz; husband, Greg Adkins; and son, Greg Adkins Jr. Survived by her children, Amanda (Jason) Adkins-Palestrant; Tiffany Adkins (Harold Evans), Tyler Adkins and Heather Cruz (Justin Smith) grandchildren, Issiah, Eliana, Noah, Neveah, Logan, Rozlynn, Kylie, Jaylin, Savannah, Mason and Grayson; sisters, Debbie Powell and Deanne Cruz. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services by Schoedinger Hilltop, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204 where visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
