

Darlene DeRoberts, age 82, entered eternal life on September 15, 2016 with her family by her side. She is survived by her husband, Dick, sons Jim (Shelly) and Jeff, daughters Nancy (Robert) and Amy (Dave), daughter-in-law Janet, grandchildren Andrew (Claire), Abigail, Allison, Haden, Jack, Nathan, Luke, Joshua and Jake, great grandson John and sisters Rosemary Capretta and Carol Deal. Darlene was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Darlene and Dick were married for 61 years during which Darlene faithfully cared for her family and friends. Throughout her life, including during her battle with Alzheimer's, Darlene lived her life with grace, dignity and faith. She had a true servant's heart and worked on behalf of children in many capacities including as president of the Children's Hospital Women's Board and Festival of Trees. Her spirit will be carried on through all of us and she will be cherished and missed by all who knew her. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, September 18th from 5:30-8:30 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd, Columbus. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, September 19th at 10:30 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, 1088 Thomas Lane, Columbus. The Mass will be followed by Entombment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio.
