

David M. Anderson, age 68, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on February 6, 2016 with his loving family by his side. He was born March 18, 1947. He graduated from Bishop Ready High School in 1965. He attended the University of Dayton until he enlisted in the US Air Force. He had his pilot's license and flew for businesses as well as recreationally for many years. He was a member of the Rotary Club of Grove City for many years, housing the club's first exchange student from Ecuador. David was the organist at St. John the Baptist Church for sixteen years. He also played throughout Central Ohio in many parishes. He worked in the heavy duty truck sales industry for forty years and retired in 2013. Preceded in death by son, Brian; daughter-in-law, Jonnie; father, Harold; father-in-law, William Albert; grandparents, Andrew and Katherine Rezes and James and Marie Anderson. Survived by loving wife of 48 years, Christine; daughter, Amy (Ryan); sons, Andrew (Sujana) and Jonathan (Kaylyn); grandchildren, Christiaan, Tori, Emily, Dylan, Chase, Anjuli, Sela, Violet, and Charlotte; great-grandson, Andres; mother, Maxine; brother, Steve; sister, Cynthia (Chris); mother-in-law, Luella Albert; brothers-in-law, Doug (Judy), Kenny (Jenny), and Paul Albert; many nieces, nephews, cousins, close family members and friends. Dave had many hobbies, his music, golfing, reading, but none more so than spending time with his family. We'd like to extend our thanks to the late Dr. Phillip Price, 3 Tower and 4 Tower of Mt. Carmel West Hospital, Mt. Carmel Hospice, Dr. Jeanna Knoble and especially Angie Edwards and Dr. Michael Cooney for not only your wonderful care, but your friendship as well. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8:30 pm Wednesday at Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 Broadway. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 am Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3730 Broadway. Interment to follow at Concord Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity. Now we have three angels looking over us, our beloved Brian, brave and wonderful Jonnnie Sue, and our kind and courageous David. How lucky we are! Your lives were a blessing, your memories a treasure; you're loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. You're in our hearts forever.
