David L. Balzer Frizzell, age 66, passed away at his home on Friday, February 4, 2011. Born in Columbus on December 28, 1944, Dave was a cancer survivor. He loved cars, art, and mostly his cats. Preceded in death by parents, William and Evelyn Balzer; and brother, Roger. Survived by wife of 18 years, Paulette Grubb; children, Terry Jo, Michelle, and Magnum; siblings, Cheryl Callins, Sue Gump, Kevin Frizzell, Dawn Frizzell, and Cathy (Bob) VanSickle; step-brothers, Scott (Tammy) and Jim Britton; step-mother, Lottie Britton; step-daughters, Teresa, and Paula Klipple; and 8 grandchildren. Visitation from 12-1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St. A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
