

David Carl Chamberlain, 54, of New Albany, Ohio died peacefully on June 21, 2016 at home. David was born November 9, 1961 in Fremont, Ohio to Lucille (Burgener) Chamberlain and the late Richard Chamberlain. He was a graduate of St. Joseph Central Catholic High School and the University of Cincinnati. David's career life included a blend of customer service, telecommunications and software implementation. He devoted time as a volunteer youth recreation coach which allowed him many opportunities to be with his children and influence the lives of other young people. Dave thought of everyone he encountered as a person deserving of kindness and respect. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Christine (Kolbe) Chamberlain; children, Laura Lucille, Teresa Ann, Thomas David, Victor Carl and David Richard; sister, Sharon (Michael) Malczewski; brothers, Gary (Rose), Michael (Didi) and Stephen (Judy) Chamberlain; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and cherished friends. Family will welcome friends 6:30-8:30 P.M. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, as well as on Sunday from 2:00-3:30 P.M. at Church of the Resurrection Catholic Church located at 6300 E Dublin Granville Road in New Albany, OH 43054, where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 3:30 P.M.; Fr. Jerome Rodenfels, celebrant. Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 27, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, 997 Cleveland Ave., Fremont, OH 43420.
