

David Duckworth, 41, passed away suddenly on February 20th while in the UK. Preceded in death by his father, Richard Lee. He is survived by his wife, Lori (Hackney) and children Vivian, Aidan and Caleb; mother, Linda (Moore); brother, Richard William; nieces Amelia and Macey; grandmother, Betty (Rankin) McIntyre, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends around the world. David was born in Fairmont, West Virginia on January 23, 1974, and moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1987. He graduated from Whitehall Yearling High School in 1992, from Capital University in 1996, and obtained a Master's Degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1999. He built a career as a software engineer and was greatly respected by his colleagues. David and Lori married in 1996 and in 2000, moved to London, England, where they lived until moving back to Columbus in 2014. David appreciated exploring new places and cultures and took every opportunity to travel extensively. He loved spending time with his family, skiing, motorcycling, and just enjoying life. David will be remembered for his drive and intelligence, big smile, and quirky sense of humor. He will be sorely missed by those he left behind.
