

David R. Easterday, age 66 of Alexandria, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010. David was born and raised in Columbus, son of the late Charles and Frances Easterday. Also preceded in death by his brother, Charles Anthony Easterday. Dave was truly “one of a kind!” He was very funny, witty, mischievous, and was a good friend to many. Dave always had an infectious smile across his face and a colorful joke coming out of his mouth. He was a Ford car enthusiast and was a longtime member of the Mid Ohio Ford Club. In addition to cars, Dave was also an animal lover and took care of all the neighborhood strays and critters that came his way. Dave retired after 25 years as an independent trucking owner operator. He will be missed by his loving wife of 44 years, Margaret Easterday; brothers, Robert and Allen (Jane) Easterday; sister, Carolyn (Carl) Walters; beloved cats; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, September 30, 2010 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday.
