David Gregory Guess

Dave was a 1999 graduate of Mifflin High School where he achieved All City in basketball and baseball. Dave worked for the National Youth Sports Program through OSU, during his summers. Dave also attended OSU and Columbus State and was employed by Morgan Stanley from November 2003 until his passing. Throughout his life, Dave encouraged and supported his friends, family and colleagues to take leaps in their careers and to continue to pursue lifelong dreams.

Dave's children were his heart and joy. He enjoyed spending time with them by way of taking them to the movies, playing games, and designated "Days out with Daddy".

Dave loved traveling, especially to Las Vegas and Florida. He was an avid lover of all sports, playing poker and hanging with his brothers and friends.

Dave was preceded in death by grandparents, Lorraine Aikens and Phillip Brooks, Donald and Katherine Guess and his uncle Donald Guess Jr.

Dave is survived by his significate other and partner, Ashlee Kershaw; children Olivea Guess and David Anthony Guess; his parents; his brothers, Derrick Guess and Darin (Dominique) Guess; niece Daysia; aunts and uncle, Barbara Walker (Monrovia, CA) Regina Chisley and Anthony Chisley (Laurel MD); a host of cousins and extended family and friends.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday May 28, 2019 from 1pm-3pm at the Schoedinger Northeast Location, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230 where a service will begin at 3pm and a reception to follow. Flowers may be sent to this location.
