David James Heckman

David James Heckman was born on October 15, 1981 and passed away unexpectedly at home at the age of 38 on April 16, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. David was a graduate of Upper Arlington High School. David had a love for Starbucks coffee. A day never went by that he didn't have a cup and if he couldn't get there someone would go and get one for him. He enjoyed reading, going to the library, watching movies and playing video games, but his favorite love of all was music. David always liked sharing video games, movies and music with Cameron. You could either find them in the house or outside for long periods of time looking at music videos on Cameron's phone. He will be greatly missed by his mother Julie Heckman; sister Kelly Heckman (David); grandmother Nancy Heckman; three aunts Linda Cayford (Fred); Diana Heckman (Margo); and Lisa Bailey (Donny). He is survived by nephews Cameron Heckman and Ryder Hoberty. He is survived by cousins Shannon Stinchcomb (Todd); Holly Cayford (Brandon); Michael Donnelly, Landen Cayford (Emma); and Ashley Brandle. Second cousins Baylee Cayford; Mason Donnelly, Liam Stinchcomb and Eli Thatcher. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Howard Harley Heckman. Memorial service will be held at a later date at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL when conditions allow.
