David Montgomery Helwagen, 84, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021. He was born December 13, 1936 in Grove City, Ohio to the late Charles and Pauline (Montgomery) Helwagen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Janice Becker, James Helwagen, Patsy King, Richard Helwagen, and Marsha Davis. David is survived by his loving wife of nearly 65 years, Barbara Helwagen; children, Tony (Cheryl) Helwagen, Jeffrey Helwagen, and Jody (Dale) Brown; grandchildren, Annette (Chad Howard) Walker, Candace (Scott) Marzec, Anna (Rob Smith) Helwagen, Emily Alexander, Nicholas (Lyniea Johnson) Helwagen, Christina (John) Collins, and Jared (Taylor) Brown; great-grandchildren, Blake, Cadence, Jayciee, Ezra, Haizley, Harlow, Kailey, Sophia, Allison, Zach, Reece, Ava, and Anthony; sister, Marjorie Francis; and many other relatives and friends.
