

David Joel Levoff, age 57, of Columbus, OH, passed away August 24, 2013. David was born September 1, 1955 in Bexley, OH. A graduate of Bexley High School, The Ohio State University, and Cornell University Graduate School; he studied hotel/motel management, spending many years in the hotel industry prior to pursuing a career in hotel feasibility consulting. Often admired for his wonderful sense of humor and compassion, David was a dedicated and caring friend, family member and caretaker to those who loved and embraced him. David's interests included honing his craft as a gourmet chef and gracious host, as well as performing with the Columbus Gay Men's Chorus, adding his talented voice to the bass section.
Preceded in death by parents Sidney and Patricia Levoff and brother Daniel Levoff. Survived by sister and brother-in-law Cindy and Tom Goodman; niece Whitney Goodman; brothers Philip Levoff and John Levoff; sister Janet Levoff and beloved cat Pavo. A private family graveside service will be held at Green Lawn Cemetery. A memorial celebration of life service will be on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, 4 p.m. at the Schoedinger Midtown Chapel, 229 East State St, Columbus, OH 43215.
