

David McCray Reynolds, age 87, passed away November 21st, 2015 at Kendal at Granville. David was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 5th, 1928, to the late William M. and Helen Reynolds. He was a former owner and president of Plumbers and Factory Supplies Inc. He graduated from Columbus Academy and Miami University, where he was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. David was also a member of Broad Street Presbyterian Church, Columbus Country Club, City Club and the Buckeye Lake Yacht Club, where he was a champion sailor. Known as “Spike” to his family, he loved children and was a kind hearted, caring, good man with a rare sense of humor. He is preceded in death by his brother John Reynolds. Dave is survived by his wife Jeny Reynolds; sons Bill (Sally) Reynolds, Tom Reynolds, and David (Denise) Reynolds, grandchildren Chris (Jocelyn) Reynolds, Jeny (Andy) Kuss, Douglas (Robyn) Reynolds and Jacy (Seth) Claybaker, four great grandchildren; siblings A.W. (Jo) Reynolds and Sally (Philip) Carlin; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made, in David’s name, to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd., Newark, OH, 43055, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, 700 Children’s Dr., Columbus, OH 43205, or a charity of one’s choice.
