David P. Toorchen

David attended Stony Brook University receiving his undergraduate degree in Biology, next attending MIT where he would receive his Ph.D in Biochemistry. David devoted much of his time to the study of guitar and music theory, always enjoying learning new songs and mastering old exercises. He also often spent afternoons in front of a chessboard or learning Russian.

He will be dearly missed and always remembered. David was preceded in death by his parents, and his two sisters, Karen and Carla. David is survived by his wife Meimei, his daughter Jasmine and his son Lance.

A celebration of life will be held in his honor Sunday, June 4th from 1 to 3 p.m at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST in Upper Arlington. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to one of the many charities that David supported throughout his life such as the Sierra Club,the American Indian College Fund, or Veterans for Peace.
