David B. Trager

David B. Trager, age 63, currently of Bellefontaine, Ohio, previously of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2010. David was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, son to the late Sam and Margaret Trager. Also preceded in death by his brother, John Trager. David graduated from Brookhaven High School and following graduation he proudly enlisted in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Japan during Vietnam. He was a buckeye football fan, enjoyed traveling to Niagara Falls, and loved celebrating Christmas time, especially going all out with holiday decorations and lights. David always supported his children in their endeavors and introduced them to many new things throughout their childhood such as music, photography, and foreign languages. He is survived by his children, David (Anna) Trager, Kristin Trager, Leslie (Kevin) Owens, Adam (Angie) Trager, and Joshua Trager; 4 grandchildren; loving companion, Mary Alice Neer; sister, Mary Christensen; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Memorial service will be held at 4 P.M. Wednesday March 3, 2010 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., where family will receive friends from 3 P.M. until time of service.
