David and I were best friends and neighbors for a few too short years until I move from Eakin when I was seven years old and he was six. He is my first memory as kid growing up, he showed up at my door one day with that same smile wanting to know if I would come outside to play. I am sorry to hear about his passing, but look forward someday to seeing him again. I regret not staying in touch more with him and his family over the years.

I had the good fortune to be able to say I was friends and a co-worker with Dave!
I can only think of a quote that I heard or read some where that came to mind when I heard of Daves' passing.
"We all have one thing in common, we die.
But  so few us really live!!!" 
The Dave Tufts I remember lived as large and positive a life as any man I  have ever known. 
My sympathies and condolences to Jan, Adam & Ashely on your loss.
I believe heaven is a better place now, and our earth a 'tiny bit 'dimmer without Dave here in it!!

I did not have the privilege of knowing you personally, but i do know your nephew Scott Moore personally and from what he tells me you were a man of love and integrity. A man who poured out his life on others in hopes that they would see a glimpse of the joy of Christ that this life can contain. Thank you for finishing well and helping those around you know what love and joy is.

Duane L. Marbury:I worked with Dave and new he loved his family and would do anything for them,if you every wanted someone to tell you the truth about anything you could ask Dave a true friend and I will miss him ,GOD bless his family and comfort them.

Trips to Nascar races will never be the same without Dave.  His love of Auto Racing seemed to be always a distant second to the Love he had for Jan, Ashley, and Adam.  Dave was always great company and a pleasure to be around.  I will miss him greatly.

I grew up with David and all through elementary school we would tease each other.  I remember he hit me over the head with a croquette mallet and when I retirned the favor, I got caught.  David was a gentle giant who always had a smile on his face.  I will be praying for his family and please accept my deepest sympathy.

I never met David, but knew his Mother, Jean for many years, we were friends in a Bunco group.  She was such a wonderful person to know, and I'm sure David was just as good a friend to all.  I still have and cherish a gift from Jean from that club and remember good times.  I pray for David's family in this time of loss, too soon, but certainly in God's hands. God bless

I enjoyed the softball and basketball games with Dave. But most of all I enjoyed the honest conversation and friendship. Through the years at COTA you could alway be counted on as a friend. You will be missed by many, I will miss you.

Dave will be deeply missed by many of his friends at COTA. He had a gift with people and always had a way of making others laugh.I will never forget some of the words of wisdom he gave me about family and life in general. Dave and I worked together for a period on a bid assignment and I observed his love for Jan, Ashley, and Adam. He was so proud of his family and would speak of them often. God bless his family and may the love of Jesus Christ comfort you through this time of great loss. We as believers have peace in knowing this is not the end but the beginning of eternal life.
