Dean Allen Kaumeyer, age 59, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021. Dean worked at Chemical Abstracts for over 20 years as a computer programmer and later was a restaurant owner. He proudly volunteered his free time at Habitat for Humanity and cooked for the local food banks. In his early years, he learned to fly, loved sailing, and more recently was interested in ceramics, piano, and cooking. Dean is preceded in death by his father, Bill, and brother, Mike. He is survived by his mother, Norma Kaumeyer, children, Ben (Emilee) Kaumeyer, Michelle (Greg) Willenkin; sisters, Carol (Craig) Shull; Joyce (Chris) McKinney; sister-in-law, Linda Kaumeyer; former wife, Beth Kaumeyer, and other family members. All services are private and entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity in Dean's memory.
