

Deborah Jean Brown aka Deborah Harris aka Debbie Jean aka Sister Deborah Muhammad, passed away September 22, 2020. She was born August 16, 1955 in Welch, West Virginia to Thomas Donald Draper, Sr. and Doris Lee Harris. Deborah retired from the Ohio Ethics Commission. She was a member of the Nation of Islam Mosque #43, CEO of Mxodus Coffee and Treasurer of the Columbus Community Board. She gave all of herself to everyone else. She will be remembered for her limitless love and her familiar words "…You know?" Deborah especially enjoyed Harris Family Reunions on Uncle Wilbert's Ranch. She is survived by her husband, Eric Cornelius Brown, Columbus Ohio; children - Renee Christine Cannon, Laneeta "Dee" Smith, Nicholas David Smith (deceased), Ashala Delores Smith, Amire Thomas Smith; Kenneth "Kenny" Levon Goins (stepchild); Many fostered children over the years whom she loved equally; grandchildren - Kyle Cannon, Kara Cannon, D-Auna Smith, D-Aundre Smith, A'tyauna Jones, Elijah Smith, Isaiah Smith, Jaylen Culberson, Aiyana Smith; sisters and brothers - Vanessa Harris, Reginald Harris, Diane Draper, Ricky Harper, Tanya Rowden, Donny Draper; great grandchildren - Elijah Smith, Jr. and Amire Smith, Jr.; aunts - Jaunita Harris and Lorain Harper; uncles - William Harris (Midge), Wilbert Harris (Mary), Dennis Harris (Hattie), and Raymond Harris; cousins - John Smith, Pinky Harper, Wilbert Hubbard, Timothy Evans, Aubrey Harris, David Evans, Ethan Evans, Rose Henderson, Diana White, Victoria Flowers and all of Troy NY! S. Yolanda Robinson, Brenda Robinson, Wanda Mae Phillips, Clay Robinson; 38 nieces and nephews with special mention of Ateia Harris who was like a daughter and helped to prepare today's Repast. Plus, many many more!!!
