Deborah Kay McCoy

Deborah Kay McCoy, age 79, of Galloway, Ohio, passed away on June 24, 2026. Born on June 14, 1947, in Wheeling, WV, Deborah’s life was marked by steady devotion to those she loved and a kind-hearted presence that will be deeply missed. Deborah built a career defined by diligence and integrity, working as a banker with Key Bank for over 30 years. Through decades of service, she earned the respect of colleagues and the trust of those she helped, reflecting the quiet strength and care that characterized her life. Deborah was a member & former president of the Hilltop Kiwanis Club and found joy in the simple, enduring pleasures of life—planting flowers, traveling, especially to Hawaii and Alaska, and spending time at the ocean listening to the waves. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Josephine (Donoghue) Pell, and her siblings, Greg and Lindsay Pell. She is survived by her loving husband, Roger McCoy; her children, Scott (Melinda) Miller, Angela Miller, Marty (Jamie) McCoy, and Roger C. McCoy; her sister, Rebecca Schell; her grandchildren, Samantha (Travis) Carley, Sydney (Bradley) Clover, Bryce, and Jaylen; and her great-grandchildren, Steven and Colson. In these moments, her warmth and gentle spirit were most evident, and those closest to her will remember the comfort of her company and the love she so freely gave.
