Delaney "Joe" McBride

Delaney served in the National Guard and retired as a custodian from Westerville City Schools. Delaney was a member of St. Anthony Church. He enjoyed being around kids and traveling with the senior center on bus trips. I

n addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Louis McBride; and sisters, Rita Morrison, Helen Long, and Marie Beatty. Survived by brother, James (Shirley) McBride; sister, Lyndell Sweeney; brother-in-law, Robert Morrison; Goddaughter, Connie Sweeney; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH.
