Delmar Harrell Stiffler

Delmar Harrell Stiffler, age 94, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Wednesday August 30, 2023. He was born in Jackson, Ohio on January 13, 1929 to the late Delmar Floyd Stiffler and Frances (Harrell) Stiffler. In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by his loving wife Carol Marise Stiffler and half-brother Frederick Stiffler. Delmar leaves behind his children Deborah Ruane and Kevin (Michele) Stiffler; half-siblings Christine Hill and Donna Hammerstein; grandchildren Gretchen (Christopher) Klamar, Ryan (Brooke) Schmelmer, Erik (Keri) Schmelmer, Clayton (Nastassja) Stiffler, Amy (Jon) Adkins, Matthew (Alex) Stiffler and Rebecca (Daniel) Evans; great grandchildren Noah, Hannah, Kaylee, Kaidan, Nathan, Mya, Ruby, Vivienne, Emma, Claire, Lainey and Benjamin. He leaves behind his best friend Boots the cat. Delmar was a proud veteran who honorably served his country in the US Army. He proudly was a previously member of the Apple City Motorcycle Club in Jackson, Ohio. He retired from Marathon Oil Company after 32 years of service. Delmar also a 32nd Degree Mason with the Westgate #623 Masonic Lodge. Family and friends may call on Tuesday September 5, 2023 from 10AM to 12Noon at the Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204 where the funeral service will begin at 12Noon. Burial will follow in Alton Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio.
