Deloris Varney, age 89, who was a long term Columbus, Ohio resident passed away on Aug. 24, 2026. She worked for City National Bank and Sears Distribution Center. Deloris grew up in the Williamson, West Virginia area and married Emzy Varney before moving to Columbus, Ohio. Deloris was married Emzy until his death in 1986 and then she married Buddy Weddington until he passed away in 2016. She was the youngest of three siblings including Hubert and OlaMae who passed before her. She retired at age 40 due to an auto accident. She enjoyed her community and shopping in Plain City. Delores enjoyed her travels to Myrtle Beach and Central Florida. Survived by her only child, and two grandchildren. Delores will always be loved and missed.
