Demetrius "D" Thomas

Demetrius Lamont Thomas, age 40, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. “D” was born February 10, 1972 in Fayetteville, NC to Gregory and Cynthia (Jones) Thomas and was a graduate of Walnut Ridge High School. He was very close with his brothers, and enjoyed spending time with family, especially on trips to North Carolina. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Eleka Hall and her mother, Nakita Hall; brothers, Marquez (Jasmine) Thomas and Gregory Thomas II; nieces, Mackenzie, Amaya and Kharngton; nephew, Kahliyl; extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Dej’a Iyvonne. Services for Demetrius will be held at 10am Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Faith Ministries Church, 2747 Agler Rd., Columbus, OH 43224 where family will receive friends from 9-10am; Dr. C.
