Denise Thompson

Denise Thompson, age 51, passed away August 5, 2013 after a brave battle with cancer. She was born January 2, 1962 in Circleville, Ohio to Bernard and Wilma Thompson. Denise opened her home and her heart to everyone she met. She loved little children and they all loved her! She will be forever loved by her partner of 31 years, Rick Sowers; children, Misty (Gregg) Hutchison, Wayne Bernard Copley (deceased), Rickey Sowers, Jr. and Brittany (Terrence) Sowers; grandchildren, Gregg, Geoff, Ryan, Aaron, Anthony and Brianna; siblings, Russell “Tut”, Debra Reed, Bernard, Mike and Donnie; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends; beloved dog, Storm. A Celebration of Denise’s life will be held at 5pm Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43204 with visitation from 4-5pm; Rev.
