Dennis James Howard

Dennis James Howard, age 53, of Orient, Ohio, born June 23, 1958, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Friday, June 22, 2012 at Doctors West Hospital with family and friends by his side. Preceded in death by brother, Ronnie Howard. Survived by parents, Bob and Betty Howard; brother, Ed Howard; and sister/caretaker, Robin Howard all of Orient. Nieces and nephews, Julia and James Yoder, Misty, Gina, Darin Howard. Dennis was a champion speed skater belonging to R.S.R.O.A and won several trophies and medals. His hobbies included watching Drag Racing at National Trails Raceway, Garden Tractor Pulling, taking home many 1st and 2nd place places with his nephew, James, and going to Columbus Motor Speedway. Friends may call on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 5:00PM-8:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 11:00AM with visitation one hour prior at Canaan Land Church, 2777 Gantz Rd., Grove City, Ohio 43123. Pastor Shawn Beauchamp officiating.
