My sincere condolences to Dolores' family and friends. May you find comfort and hope in the promise recorded for us at Revelation 21:4 where it says " And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". All the best wishes for your family at this difficult time, I'm truly sorry for your loss.

These qualities still shone out from her until the end. She is greatly missed here. However - you have a great advocate in heaven now. Her family was always first in her heart. I am sorry! Please accept my sympathy to each one of you over the losss of your dear Mother and Grandmother.  We all loved Dee and have so many good memories over the years. 

Several weeks ago, on a Sunday morning, Dee and a friend were setting on a bench outside the Villas at St. Theresea.  I held her hand and talked with her and smiled and said hello.  I am so grateful that I had that opportunity to say hi and goody to Dee, it was meant to be!  God Bless her, and all of you.

Dear Cousins -  Bev, Jerry, Mary, Deb, Marsha, Dan, Ron & Greg,

Coming out to Columbus every year I always enjoyed seeing my Aunt Dee, and her house was always a warm and welcoming place for everyone.  As an only child I was used to things being much smaller and quieter, but she always had room for one (or ten) more guests, and would calmly fix dinner for a crowd while the whole house was immaculately neat, even while kids were running all around.   I’ve thought about her many times as I raised my own family – she managed everything so well, and really enjoyed doing it.  I know there are many times that she must have been exhausted, but she was truly the heart of her home and you could tell she loved taking care of her house and family.  She told me when I was an adult that the only job she ever wanted was a wife and mother – well it was the perfect job for her!  She had a really successful life – she got to do what she wanted, she was good at it, and the love came back to her through all of you and all your children & grandchildren.  She had an effect on so many people, and I know you all will carry part of her with you forever.  She was always so proud to talk about different things her kids were doing and was happy to see you all independent and living your own lives.  I saw lots of pictures over the years, so even though I’ve been far away I’ve kept up with your families.
I’ve always said that my Aunt Dee was one of the most well-adjusted, common sense, and down-to – earth people I’ve ever met.  Her life was not always easy, but she was very matter-of-fact, did what had to be done, and found time to enjoy herself and laugh along the way.  She was a great person, who did the everyday things well, was fun to be around, and left the world a better place.
Although I’m sad for all of you, I know she’s in a better place and looks down on you with love, as always.
