

Donald Ray Bolinger, age 66, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on June 14, 2026. Born April 4, 1960, to the late Donald Lee Bolinger and Ruby Jewel Bolinger. Donald will be remembered with deep respect and lasting affection by all who knew him.
Donald graduated from Franklin Heights High School, where his early dedication and steady spirit were already evident. In those years, his love of music took root—an interest that would remain a meaningful thread throughout his life.
Known as “Uncle Donnie” to many, he carried himself with a gentle presence and a loyal heart. He loved music, played the alto sax and violin, and in high school traveled to Europe with the US Collegiate Marching Band—an experience that reflected both his commitment and the quiet joy he found in sharing music with others. Above all, he loved to spend time with his grandchildren, offering them the kind of steady attention and warmth that becomes a lifelong comfort.
Donald is survived by his significant other, Angela McConnell; his children, Brandon (Madison) Lee Bolinger Sr. and Dawn Bolinger; and his grandchildren, Dawsey Cossitt, Madilynn Bolinger, Jordan Stewart, Brooklynn Bolinger, Emma Stewart, Kayelynn Bolinger , Brandon Bolinger Jr., Mackenzie Bolinger, and Lilliana Bolinger. He is also survived by his sister, Jo Ann (Richard) Ramey.
He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends, including those in Kingswood, WV. Donald’s memory will remain a beloved presence—carried forward in the music he cherished, the family he held close, and the quiet goodness he brought to the lives around him.
