Donald Dee Darst, age 51, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2013 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 13, 1962 in Columbus, OH to the late John and Ruth Darst. He is survived by his brother, John Darst, sister, Peggy (Randall) Ransom and ½ sister, Rosemary (Mike) Frye; also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Donald was a member of Covenant Evangelical Church. He enjoyed his work as a driver and was passionate about his dogs. Family will receive friends 8:30-10am Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Covenant Evangelical Church, 4001 N. Stygler Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230 where services will begin at 10am; Pastor Tony Robbins, officiating; Graveside service will be held at 12noon at Fairview Cemetery, 15271 Vance Rd., Mount Vernon, OH. Following burial, all are welcome back at the church for a luncheon reception. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Covenant Evangelical or to the Capital Area Humane Society in Donald’s memory.
