Donald J. Hackman

Donald J. "Hack" Hackman P.E., age 79 of Upper Arlington, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio. Donald was born July 24, 1936 in Youngsville, Pennsylvania to the late William and Catherine Hackman. He was a graduate of Youngsville High School, Class of 1954, graduate of Cleveland State University with a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering in 1962 and from The Ohio State University with a Master of Mechanical Engineer in 1969. Donald worked for Battelle Institute for 31 years. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Christine Hackman; sister, Billie Wilson of St. Augustine, Florida and brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Ann Hackman of Pompano Beach, Florida. Funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. Monday, February 8, 2016 at Union Cemetery, 3349 Olentangy River Rd. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL.
