Donald Edward Harsh

Donald Edward Harsh, 89, died Friday, December 14, 2012. He was born March 2, 1923 in Madison County, Ohio to the late George & Ercel (Smith) Harsh. He was a proudly decorated U.S. Navy WWII Veteran and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Lloyd, Keith, and Roy; and son, Bill Holloway. Don is survived by his loving wife, of 58 years, Alice; sons, Roy (Eileen) Holloway and Gregory (Eva) Harsh; grandchildren, Donny Harsh, Vikki Harsh, Sara (Tony) Ottaviano, and Heather Estrada; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Glenn Harsh; sisters, Catherine Davisson and Eunice Russel; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Monday, December 17, 2012 at the Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St. Columbus. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday at Saint Cecilia Catholic Church, 434 Norton Rd., Columbus. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
