He was born in Zanesville on September 11, 1948 to the late Wilbur and Sarah (Matheny) Henderson. Donald enjoyed fishing.
Donald is survived by his fiancée Darlene Baker, children Debra Kirkpatrick, Nancy Spires, Wendi Smith, Donald, Shannon and Mark Henderson, step children Faith, David and Dan Ervin. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, siblings Herman, Ronnie, Patty, and Donna.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a grandchild Matthew, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Friends and family may call on Thursday, April 21, 2011 from 11 -1 pm at Boring-Sheridan Schoedinger Funeral Home, 108 N. 7th St. Hebron. Funeral service will follow at 1 pm with Minister Dan Ervin officiating. Burial will be held at Smith Chapel Cemetery in Frazeysburg.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Boring-Sheridan Schoedinger Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
