Donald "Dean" Parsons

Donald “Dean” Parsons, Jr., age 60, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 14, 2012. He was born in Athens, Ohio, on December 28, 1951, to the late Delores Jo and Donald Dean Parsons, Sr. Dean loved computers and technology, and he retired as a computer technician from AEP. He also enjoyed hunting and movies, and he loved to make people laugh. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Doris Parsons; children, Sean Dean Parsons, Shawn Michael Grosh, and Scott Mitchel Grosh; brothers, Dwight Everett Parsons and David Allen Parsons; grandchildren, Elliot Gangwer, and Sidney, Skylar, Brayden, Landon, Logan, and Ava Grosh; and many extended family members and friends. A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, March 19, 2012, at the SCHOEDINGER LINDEN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 2741 Cleveland Ave., where family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon.
