Donald R. Watson

Don worked for Western Electric until he stayed home to watch his boys and became a caregiver for his parents and brother, Danny. He was a charter member of the Franklin County Bass Masters and a member of the Gahanna Bass Masters. Don never met a stranger, was an incurable flirt, quick-witted, and was a funny jokester. He loved hunting, fishing, music, NASCAR, OSU football, and was holding on for the Browns to win another game, “WOO WEE”!

Preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Betty Watson; and brother, Danny. Don will be missed by his loving children, Brian (Suzanne) Watson, Scott (fiancée, Sabrina Browning), James (fiancée, Andrea Johnston), and Lisa (Bill) Donahue; 4 grandchildren with one on the way; twin brother, Ronald (Gladys) Watson, sister, Linda (Larry) Graves; brother, Michael (Sheila) Watson; cuz, Skip (Marla) Yates; and many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 7 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, where the family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
