Donna graduated from Louisville High School, and Mt. Carmel School of Nursing respectively, to become a Registered Nurse. She practiced nursing for over 35 years, ultimately becoming the Quality Assurance Director for Harding Hospital in Worthington Ohio.
Although Donna loved her nursing career, she would say that her finest role was as a loving partner and wife to Jim for 66 years, a devoted mother to her five daughters, and a beloved Grammy and Great Grammy to her 11 grandchildren and great granddaughter.
Donna was a gifted seamstress, an avid gardener, a voracious reader, and a dedicated bird watcher. She loved to play golf and was an enthusiastic traveler. Whether sewing elaborate Halloween costumes for her grandchildren or hand making cards for friends and loved ones, Donna found ways to express her love creatively.
Donna was a force of nature, alive with a sense of purpose, and boundless energy. She gave love and received love generously and without judgement. Although she will be desperately missed by many, she would want those who love her to find comfort in her presence in all we do, and in the knowledge that she is watching over everyone she loves.
