Lovetta has been an awesome friend and neighbor of ours for the last 42 years.  We have shared many good times with her and her family.  She will be greatly missed by us.

All,

There are a few special messages of gratitude that I would like to share with everyone.  I want to sincerely thank our new Family at Hoover Haus for all that they did for Mom during the last weeks of life here on earth.  They truly took Mom in as one of their own and loved her just as much as she was loved by her immediate family.  So much attention was given to her special needs by everyone and I was constantly amazed that not only were they supporting my Mother….but they were also supporting our family members as well.  

Rosemary, your expertise in understanding what people need without it being directly stated is truly a talent to be treasured.  Not only that, but your ability to navigate the Hospice program for those under your care to obtain items that they need to be as comfortable as possible during their final days was impeccable.  

Quinten, you are like a brother to me for I saw firsthand the love and attention to every detail that you provided for my Mom.  Your phone call on Sunday night was such a critical element in allowing our family to gather by Mom’s bedside during her last hours.  You stayed with us up until the final moment when Mom gave up her life to the Lord and you were there to provide comfort to each family member as we struggled to understand and accept the bitter sting of death.  

To all the other caregivers at Hoover Haus (Angelique, Lori, Ercle, Whitney, and Tina) you each are truly special as well for you all played such an important part in helping Mom every day.  Your passion for helping those who struggle to help themselves is astonishing.  Not only were you able to provide my Mom with all that she needed, but you also were tending to the needs of the other extended family members (Residences of Hoover Haus) at the same time.  You all should be very proud in what you do for others….and I am sure that there is a special place in heaven for each of you….for you all are doing God’s work….here on earth.  

Also, many thanks to the Mount Carmel Hospice team for all that you did for my Mom.  Just like with the Hoover Haus team, you all provided exceptional care for Mom as well as making sure that our Family was aware of each critical step as Mom transitioned.  You are all God’s chosen people as well….for I have no idea how you all have the strength to get out of bed each day…knowing that someone else in the Hospice program will more than likely not survive the next 12 hours.  Your jobs are truly one of the toughest on the planet, and I applaud each and everyone one of you for all that you do….not only for my Mom….but for everyone else that is under the care of the Mound Carmel Hospice program.

Once again….thanks to everyone who was involved in taking care of my Mom.  You each have a special place in my heart…..and I know that Mom would agree with me that you all had a special place in her heart as well.

I want to thank Larry and all the Family for giving me, Quinten, and all the Hoover Haus staff the honor to have had Lovetta in our hearts and lives during the past weeks.  She was such a beautiful and kind person and touched each and everyone of us.  We all loved her and will miss her.  My sympathies to such a wonderful Family!
