Doris Jean Emrich

Doris Jean Emrich, age 77, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014. She was born February 8, 1937 in New Martinsville, West Virginia to the late Golden and Ethel Yeater. Doris was employed with Hilliard City Schools as a cook for over 12 years. She was a former member of Columbia Heights United Methodist Church and a part of many bowling leagues over the years. She loved to crochet, boat, fish and go camping. Most of all, she loved to take care of her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Emrich. Doris is survived by her children, Vickie (Eddie) Hager, Scott (Marlene Felter) Emrich, Craig (Dinha) Emrich and Tracey (Tim Smith) Young; grandchildren, Keisha Davis, Jason Rogers, Cristi (Rusty) Carlsen, Steven Emrich, Shawn Young and John D. Young; great-grandchildren, Melannie, Hannah, James, Brittany, Brandon, Natosha and Nicole; beloved cat, Benjamin; and many dear friends. Visitation will be 10-11am Monday, March 17, 2014 at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St. Columbus, Ohio where funeral service will follow at 11 am. Interment at Sunset Cemetery.
