Dorothy Jean Beach

Dorothy Jean Beach, 72, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019. Born May 11, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio. She was a wonderful mother, wife, sister, and friend. She was loyal, caring, giving to a fault, and compassionate. Jean enjoyed being around children and worked as a Kindergarten Aide for 17 years at Avondale Elementary. She was a longtime member of Vineyard Christian Fellowship. Jean enjoyed playing cards with her Bunko ladies, travelling, and shopping. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Williams; mother, Lois (Mead) Burns; and brothers, Charles and Clarence Williams. Jean is survived by her husband of 54 years, David; children, David, Jr. and Carrie (Bill) Best; her grandson, Dylan, the light of her life; sister, Carol Wade; sister-in-law, Ruth Williams; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Jean's family will receive friends 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2019 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 3005 Holt Rd., Grove City, Ohio 43123. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
