Dorothy Margaret Butler, 91, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully on October 1, 2020 at The Woodlands of Columbus Senior Living. She was born August 19, 1929 in Wharton, West Virginia to Ervin and Arvelva (Skaggs) Ward; also preceded in death by her husband Dennis Butler and her sister Ruth Combs. Dorothy is survived by her daughters Linda (Zack) Browning of Lancaster, Ruby (Larry) Knotts of Pataskala and Barbara (Jim) McLaughlin of Gahanna. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren: Crystal (deceased) (Keith) Erick, Jeffery (Robbie) Browning, Donny (Sarah) Browning, Dreama (Tom-deceased) Dehner, Larry Allen Knotts, Stacy (Mike) Murphy, Kelly (Brandon) Coleman; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Per Dorothy's wishes, there will be no public services. Cremation entrusted to Schoedinger Northeast.
