Dorothy S. Curtis

Dorothy Curtis, 79, of Columbus, passed away November 15, 2009. She was born December 12, 1929 in New York, NY to the late Karl and Anna Stotz. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert; daughter, Susan Curtis; sons, Walter (Colleen) Curtis, Alan (Pam Lieber) Curtis, Russell Curtis; grandchildren, Brittany, Caroline, Abigail, Adam, Hannah and her sister, Trudy (Don) Granger. Dorothy was a charter member of Church of the Redeemer United Methodist and was Treasurer for the church for 22 years. She was a member of the Reynoldsburg Civic Club and a life member of the A.A.U.W. where she acted as Treasurer of the Investment Club. Dorothy enjoyed square dancing and was a member of the Circle Eighters. She loved to travel and her travels took her to many parts of the world including Alaska, Bermuda, Scandinavia, England, Scotland along with many other beautiful destinations. Friends may call 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Funeral services will be held 10:30am Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Church of the Redeemer United Methodist, 235 McNaughten Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43213. Pastor Sue Ellen Miller will be officiating with interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
