Dorothy L Hollingshead

Dorothy L. Hollingshead, 79, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Mt. Carmel Grove City. Dorothy was born on March 12, 1942 in Iaeger, West Virginia to Homer and Elizabeth (Payne) Chaffin. She was a wonderful mom and mamaw to everyone. Preceded in death by her husband, Roy Gene Hollingshead; father, Homer and Oria Chaffin and mother, Elizabeth and Robert Mayes; sons, Billie and Homer Sexton; daughter, Suzette Talbott; granddaughter, Brandie; siblings, Deloris, Cecil, and Butch. Survived by Bruce (Rhonda) Sexton and Della Sullivan; grandchildren, Bobby Jr, Steven (Jessica), Thomas (Charlee), Mark, Chauntae, Joshua, Ashley, Donald, Misti, Nikki, Shannon, Phillip, Brian, Kimberley, Erik, Bruce Jr. (Heather), Kaitlyn (Jordan), Derek (Amanda), Darrell (Amber), Chloe and Carmen (Curtis); many great grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Mary and Jerri; siblings, Pat, Mary, Shelia, Lee, Sis, William, David, Bobby, Bert and Charles; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 4-7 pm at Heart and Hope Funeral Home by Schoedinger, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 10:00 am with Ted Hollingshead officiating at Obetz Cemetery, 4455 Groveport Road, Obetz, Ohio 43207.
