Dorothy C. (Bricker) Hooper

Dorothy Catherine (Bricker) Hooper passed away on December 19, 2015 at the age of 89. Family was everything to Dorothy. She was a much loved mother, sister, aunt and friend and was a proud mother of six children who adored her. Those who knew her loved her for her compassion, generosity, loving heart and beautiful smile. She was a blessing to us all and will be sadly missed.

She was preceded in death by parents Stewart and Margaret Bricker, brothers Paul, James, Daniel, Urban and Jerry; sister Mary (Bricker) Hensel and daughter-in-law Joey Hooper. Survived by children Michael Hooper, Daniel (Jan) Hooper, Joyce (Sam) Stowe, Teresa Hooper, Joan (Mark) Richards and John (Jennifer) Hooper. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, sisters Bernadine Zwick, Margaret (Stephen) Swartz, Janet Ross and John (MaryAnne) Bricker.

Dorothy’s family will receive friends from 5-7:30pm, Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High Street in Worthington. Mass of Christian Burial, 10 am, Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 5750 N High St, Worthington, OH 43085. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
