

Dorothy N. McClaskey, age 79, of Columbus, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 4, 2010. She was born in Calhoun County, West Virginia on October 24, 1930 to the late Jewell and Anna Springston. She was a 1949 graduate of Atwater High School and retired from Uniform Printing and Supply Company where she worked as a secretary. Dorothy joined the Hillcrest Baptist Church in 1960 and was a member there for 50 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Otis and Shelby. Survivors include her children, Kathy VanHorn, Nancy (Terry) Conkel, Martin (Thea) McClaskey, Carolyn Sue Evans, and Patricia McClaskey; grandchildren, Rex (Jackie) VanHorn, Katy (Troy) Peach, Jeff (Andrea) Oliver, Daniel Oliver, William, Lawrence, James, Anthony, Dustin, and Eugene McClaskey; Annie (Austin) Mills, and Benjamin Maggard; great grandchildren, Alexander and Andrew Joseph VanHorn, Clayton and Shelton Peach; Ryan, Maddison, Adam, and Mason Oliver, Katlyn, Austin, Landon, and Logan McClaskey; and Ayden, Adalia, and Asa Paul Mills; and siblings, Delores, Sue, Jack, Shirley, and Christine.
