Dorothy E (Bower) Milton, 96, of Sidney, previously of Crawfordville, FL peacefully passed away on September 23, 2026 at Ohio Hospice of Miami County. She was born on February 3, 1930 in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Bertha (Brockman) Bower. On February 1, 1988 she married John Milton, who preceded her in death on December 9, 1995.
Dorothy is survived by one son, John Maxson of Sidney, Ohio; one son, Raymond Milton of Duff, TN; one daughter, Patricia Fultz of Mumford, TN; in laws, Frank and Lucille Milton of New Braunfels, TX; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Dennis Maxson; one daughter, Charlotte Clark; one son Horace Milton; one great-granddaughter, Ashlee Coverstone; one sister, Jacqueline Maxson; and one brother, Ted Bower.
Dorothy and John were previous owners of the Tilton Hilton Bar at Indian Lake. Once retired they ventured to FL splitting their time between Florida, Tennessee and Ohio to be with family and friends. She cherished her close friendships, and she loved spending time with her family.
A Family Graveside Service will be held at a later date in Duff TN.
